I’m Alexa Borbély: official Beauty’s Secret trainer, multi-award-winning lash artist, competition judge and speaker, master beautician, permanent makeup artist, official InLei® trainer, author of the Beauty’s Secret Lash Book and founder of Beauty’s Secret.

I started doing lash extensions in 2013. Over more than 10 years, I’ve learned the tricks of the trade from many renowned Hungarian and international masters, and I’ve finished on the podium more than 27 times at competitions in Hungary and abroad.

I’ve been teaching lash extensions since 2016. I keep developing my courses, and in 2019 I turned the theory material into a 140-page textbook for my students. Later I made it available to every lash artist as the Beauty’s Secret Lash Book. As Hungary’s first lash extension textbook, it earned a strong reputation at home and drew wide interest across Europe. Since then, I’ve offered the book as a prize to the podium finishers at most lash competitions in Hungary.

I’ve been at lash competitions as a sponsor and judge since 2020, and I’ve been giving professional talks since 2023. Several of my students have won awards at lash extension and lash lift competitions, and I’m truly proud of every one of them. Competing is still close to my heart, so I encourage all my students to put themselves to the test: you learn and grow so much along the way, you get real validation of your work, and it can help you become a well-known, respected professional.

Over my years in the industry, I’ve watched the lash world grow and change, and I’ve gathered a wealth of experience that I put to full use in my work. But I don’t want to be the only one who benefits from it. I want to share it with every lash artist. So in 2024, I finally made my biggest dream come true: I created Beauty’s Secret’s own-brand products. After testing a huge number of products, we created products of the highest quality that make any lash artist’s work easier. At the same time, I launched the Beauty’s Secret trainer program, so other professionals can learn the training protocol required to run official Beauty’s Secret courses and become official Beauty’s Secret trainers themselves. Looking ahead, I’d love to build a large community of Beauty’s Secret brand partners, trainers and featured lash artists.
