HOW TO USE:
3M Microfoam foam tape is a hypoallergenic surgical tape, especially recommended for clients who are allergic to hydrogel pads. It is waterproof, so it won’t soak through even when your client’s eyes water, which makes it a great choice for every lash artist. Its strong adhesion keeps it from shifting during application, and your isolation tweezers can rest on it securely. It comes on a roll, so you can cut it to each client’s eye shape.
Do not place the tape directly on the waterline: start at the base of the lower lashes, so that the lash roots are no longer visible. Make sure the tape doesn’t pull down the lower eyelid, as this can become uncomfortable, and that it doesn’t slip into your client’s eye, as this can cause irritation. How to cut and apply 3M Microfoam correctly is taught at every Beauty’s Secret training.
When you have finished, please remove the tape carefully while supporting the skin, to avoid irritating or injuring it.
It adheres really well and is flexible. I have one client who only gets on with this. A must-have for UV technique!
