3M Micropore paper tape is the perfect partner for hydrogel and microfoam pads: it lets you separate the lower lashes thoroughly and tape down the base of the lower lashes securely. Please note that it cannot be used as a pad on its own, as it can irritate the eye area.
Its very strong adhesion also makes it ideal for lifting the eyelid. If your client’s eye doesn’t close properly, you can secure a few lashes from the lower row to the pad with small pieces of Micropore, so your client can’t open the eye. Don’t use this method for UV lash extensions, though: an eye that doesn’t close properly is a contraindication for UV application.
When you have finished, please remove the tape carefully while supporting the skin, to avoid irritating or injuring it!
